Ground water & unstable ground conditions for STP install in Rendlesham

We recently completed a challenging installation project in Iken, near Rendlesham, that required specialized methods due to significant groundwater and unstable ground conditions. We were approached by a customer based on a recommendation, specifically because of the high water table in the area.
Considerable effort was invested in the construction of a sheet shuttering system. Our engineers meticulously piled the sheets into the ground, locking them together to create a robust sheet-piled wall on all four sides of the excavation. Throughout the process, constant de-watering of the excavation was necessary to facilitate concrete backfill and ensure proper separation from the high water table.
Thanks to the expertise and innovative approaches of our experienced civil engineers, the Tricel Novo sewage treatment plant was successfully installed, even under these demanding conditions. This project highlights our capability to manage complex installations where conventional methods are not feasible.
